Mayor Marina Fraser was first elected to the Half Moon Bay City Council in November 2003 and is currently serving her second Mayoral term. Prior to her election to the City Council, Mayor Fraser served as a Half Moon Bay Parks & Recreation Commissioner from 1998-2002. Mayor Fraser is the Chair of the San Mateo County Library Joint Powers Association and is the City Council's representative to the Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside, the Peninsula Traffic Congestion Relief Alliance and the Office of Emergency Services.

Vice Mayor Naomi Patridge is currently serving a record 6th term on the Half Moon Bay City Council. A five-time past Mayor, she was also a Half Moon Bay Parks & Recreation Commissioner for 14 years prior to being elected to the City Council. Vice Mayor Patridge is the Chair of the Local Agency Formation Commission and serves as the City's representative to the City/County Association of Governments, BPAC/ CMEQ and numerous other agencies and organizations.

650-306-0348 Councilmember Alifano was elected to the Half Moon Bay City Council in November of 2009. A local business owner, he is an active member of the Downtown Business Association. Previous experience with the City of Half Moon Bay includes an 8-year stint on the City's Planning Commission. He is a member of the City's Senior Housing Campus Committee and serves as the City of Half Moon Bay's representative to the Association of Bay Area Governments and the Community Schools Partnership Program.

"Farmer John" Muller was appointed to the Half Moon Bay City Council in 2006 to fill a vacancy created by a Councilmember resignation. He ran unopposed in November of 2007, and has served as both Vice Mayor and Mayor since then. Prior to his tenure on the City Council, Councilmember Muller was a Board Member and Chair of the Coastside County Water District Board. He continues to serve as the Chair of the Regional Water Quality Control Board and is actively involved in the City's Finance Committee and as a member of the Sewer Authority Mid-Coastside Board of Directors.

Councilmember Kowalczyk was elected to the Half Moon Bay City Council in November 2009. He is a business consultant, specializing in the strategic planning and marketing services. He is involved in many civic organizations, including the Cabrillo Education Foundation and ASPIRE Education Services. He serves as the City of Half Moon Bay's representative to the Community Schools Partnership Program, the League of California Cities Environmental Quality Committee and and a member of the City's Human Resources Committee. |
